Inspiration can come from a wide variety of sources and in this design, it was provided via our lockdown lovespoon competition, through the design of Gavin initially, an alteration suggested by my wife and the ongoing development of our YouTube channel. Indeed, the development of this design is a unique story in regards to designs here at The Lovespoon Workshop.
The Rose is also an inspiration in this design, a beautiful flower that has become synonymous with the idea of love and romance. Rosa del Amor, roughly translates as the rose of love or love’s rose. As it took part of its inspiration from my Spanish wife it seemed an appropriate name. It is, in many ways, a perfect addition to a lovespoon design. The hope that love will blossom or continue to blossom. This lovespoon is an ideal choice as an engagement lovespoon, wedding lovespoon, valentines lovespoon or anniversary lovespoon. It has also been used to remember loved ones, celebrate the birth of a baby, as a birthday lovespoon and to express an idea of growth and development. All in all a truly versatile design that is ideal for number of situations and circumstances.
