The dove is within a surround that is inspired by the shape of a candle flame, encapsulating the idea that ‘hope springs eternal’ within the spirit. This lovespoon is a great example of how versatile the Welsh lovespoon can be, not just for special occasions but to share the idea of thinking of one another at times of difficulty. The design is inspired by the hope that enduring during difficult times can drive us on towards better times ahead.
